MARTIN
TOYEN
President
Mr.
Toyen has been employed in the marine industry for over 25 years. His
diverse experience has provided invaluable knowledge in the areas of strategic
planning, financial and project management, and contract management. His
understanding of information systems used for reporting has allowed him
to increase efficiency in and throughout the corporate structure. Mr.
Toyen has worked on numerous studies used to assist clients in the areas
of economic analysis for capital expenditures, and improvement for operational
efficiencies. Mr. Toyen has also negotiated multi-million dollar leasing
contracts and lending agreements for the purchase of maritime-related
capital assets for Seaworthy and clients. Additionally, he has provided
legal testimony on behalf of clients for the calculation of financial
damages, and for the sale of a $300 million dollar shipping company. He
is a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, currently
serving as a member of the executive board and a member of SNAME Panel
0-36 Maritime Economics. He is a past Chairman of the New York Metropolitan
Section. He was appointed Chairperson of the Connecticut Maritime Commission
by the Governor of Connecticut. He is also a Past Director of the Connecticut
Maritime Association and past Director and past Secretary of the Connecticut
Port Authority, a State of Connecticut authority established to assist
in economic development for the ports of Connecticut. He is a Past Director
of the Connecticut Maritime Coalition as well as past President and past
Director of the Association of Water Transportation Accounting Officers.
He is a past member of the National Transportation Research Board, Committee
on Ports and Channels, as well as the Military Transportation Committee,
having previously served on the Inland Waterways Committee. He has been
an adjunct lecturer for over 10 years, teaching graduate-level courses
for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Hartford and Groton campuses).

THOMAS
J. PAKULA
Executive Vice President - Government Programs
As
the manager of the Washington, D.C. area office, Mr. Pakula has primary
responsibility for the development and management of Seaworthy's government
business areas. He also directs all activities related to the installation
and support of our computerized planned maintenance management systems
for both commercial and government ship applications. Mr. Pakula has managed
a number of diesel, steam, and gas turbine propulsion plant design projects
and has overseen major ship repair efforts. In addition to his in-depth
involvement in engineering programs, Mr. Pakula has had broad experience
in the sales and marketing of diesel and gas turbine power systems for
both marine and industrial applications. He is a graduate of the US Merchant
Marine Academy and has been an active member of a number of professional
organizations, including ASME, SNAME, and ASNE.

WILLIAM
A. WOOD
Executive Vice President; Naval Architecture
Mr.
Wood is responsible for the conduct and management of Seaworthy's naval
architecture, ship design, and structural design and related vibration
analysis programs. He holds BSE and MSE degrees in naval architecture
and marine engineering from the University of Michigan. He has served
in various engineering and design capacities, including chief naval architect
of Bethlehem Steel's Shipbuilding Division. He is a recognized industry
expert in the area of structural design and related finite element analysis,
propeller/engine induced structural vibration analysis, ship collision
and grounding analysis, damage assessment, tanker design, shipbuilding
methods and cargo handling, and has authored numerous papers on these
topics. An active member of SNAME since 1966, he is past Chairman of Panel
HS-7, Vibration, and the Baltimore sub-section.

WILLIAM
C. VAN WORMER
Vice President; Engineering
Mr. Van Wormer is
the marine engineering manager and is responsible for the day-to-day supervision
and management of Seaworthy’s work in support of MSC’s MRE
and SMART ship inspection programs. His specific areas of experience include
the performance of power plant and auxiliary machinery and systems performance
evaluations, efficiency analyses, determination of specific fuel consumption,
and material condition assessments. Mr. Van Wormer is a USCG licensed
engineering officer and a graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
He holds a BS degree in mechanical/marine engineering and an MS in business
administration, and his professional career includes service as an engineering
officer, a commercial ship owner’s representative as well as a utility
plant manager for a 137-acre, 23-building facility.

JOHN
A. HUNTER
Vice President; Chief Naval Architect
Mr.
Hunter is responsible for the management of Seaworthy's small craft naval
architecture and marine engineering projects. He has additional specialized
expertise in passenger vessel design. Mr. Hunter is in charge of all stability
related analysis, such as inclining experiments and stability booklet
preparation. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan, with a BSE
degree in naval architecture and marine engineering. Much of Mr. Hunter's
professional career has been in the employ of shipyards, which has further
enhanced his technical capabilities with practical shipbuilding experience.

MATTHEW
F. WINKLER
Vice President; Fuels and Combustion
Mr.
Winkler is responsible for advanced technology programs associated with
fuels, lubes, fuel systems,combustion, and emission controls. He has developed
progressive approaches to fuel treatment,combustion optimization, combustion
deposit reduction, corrosion control, and fuel savings for diesel engines,
boilers, and gas turbines. He has developed numerous technical briefs
and appeared as an expert witness in the fuels, engine failure, and other
related areas. Formerly, he was employed by Pratt & Whitney as a fuels
specialist, and is a past corporate representative for ISO (worldwide
fuel specifications). He has authored more than forty technical papers
over the past 35 years, many dealing with diesel engines and diesel support
systems. He is a graduate of the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn (New
York) and has done post graduate work at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

CHRISTOPHER
W. MARINO
Vice President
Mr. Marino is a senior
USCG licensed engineering officer and a graduate of SUNY Maritime College
at Fort Schuyler. As assistant branch manager of the Washington D.C. office,
Mr. Marino is responsible for its day-to-day operations and for the quality
of all deliverables. He has coordinated the development, supervision,
management, installation and support of over 175 shipboard computerized
maintenance systems since joining Seaworthy in 1985. He has conducted
shipboard maintenance and equipment evaluation surveys. Previously, Mr.
Marino sailed for various US flag shipping companies and has acted as
owner's representative during shipyard periods.

CARY
M. ROBERTS
Vice President; Information Technology
Mr. Roberts has overall responsibility for Seaworthy's information systems.
All software development programs for both government and commercial clients
are managed by Mr. Roberts. He has played a key leadership role in the
design, development, implementation and support of major maintenance management
systems software for the Military Sealift Command and the Maritime Administration.
Mr. Roberts is a US Coast Guard engineer and has served in senior engineering
positions for both MSC and commercial shipping companies. He is a graduate
of Maine Maritime Academy and has done graduate work in Software Systems
Engineering at George Mason University.

DANIEL
T. NORTON
Assistant Vice President
Mr.
Norton is a USCG licensed engineering officer and a graduate of Maine
Maritime Academy. He holds a BS degree in marine engineering and is a
licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Virginia. In addition to
his work in the area of marine propulsion plant test, evaluation, and
performance analysis, Mr. Norton is responsible for the day-to-day supervision
and management of Seaworthy's work in support of MSC's MRE and SMART ship
inspection programs. Specific areas of experience include new construction
plan review and on-site supervision, and propulsion shaft design and alignment.
In addition to his time at sea, Mr. Norton's professional career includes
service as a Port Engineer for the US Navy as well as for various commercial
ship owners.

DONALD
A. RICCIUTI
Assistant Vice President; Engineering
Mr. Ricciuti has
accumulated over 26 years of experience in the practice of marine and electrical
engineering. He has been involved in numerous reflagging, conversion and
repair programs, and his specific areas of experience include machinery
arrangements, pump design, piping design, electrical load analysis, electrical
and controls design, and generator sizing and installations. He has been
heavily involved in environmental engineering pertaining to emissions reductions,
both marine and industrial, and has been the project manager on many of
Seaworthy’s HPWI and fog system installations. Mr. Ricciuti is a USCG
licensed engineering officer and a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine
Academy. He holds a BS degree in marine engineering and is a Registered
Professional Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, in the State of Connecticut.

JEANNE
MURPHY
Controller
Ms. Murphy is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all accounting
functions. In addition, she handles all audits, assists in preparation of
major proposals, and implements and customizes accounting software. She
is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of
business administration and accounting degrees, and has extensive financial
background in nonprofit accounting as well as auditing of government agencies.
