Marine Engineering Technician opening. Position requires experience
in engineering/shipboard maintenance or operating experience
with strong computer skills. This position requires a combination
of Marine and IT skills and experience. Excellent opportunity
for candidate transitioning to shore side employment. Travel
required. Must be able to obtain DoD security clearance. Excellent
English verbal and written communication skills required.
Duties include:
- Software
installation in client offices and on ships
- Support
Computerized Planned and Condition-based Maintenance Systems
- Provide customer
support and training, troubleshooting, and general product support
- Data Collector
installation, training and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate must be extremely computer proficient with Windows operating
systems and have hands-on knowledge of machinery maintenance and systems.
Excellent opportunity to be exposed to a variety of marine equipment while
working in a team environment. Salary commensurate with experience.
