Our Marine group has been highly involved with new transportation system
start-ups, reducing road traffic for both passengers and freight. One
ongoing example is our roll-on, roll-off barge transport system for the
Boston Harbor Water Resources Construction Project. Daily, up to two hundred
“18 wheelers” are brought out and back from the construction
site, eight miles across Boston Harbor. We designed and financed a major
part of the system and its hauling equipment.
