DynaStar
2000™ Maintenance Management System Features
The DynaStar
2000™ Computerized Maintenance Management System is focused
on industrial, process, and utility related maintenance activities and
provides enhanced real-time search capabilities, added security, and ease-of-use
for these applications. It is based on a client/server architecture using
a flexible SQL database system that can be readily expanded to match plant
maintenance requirements growth.
DynaStar
2000™'s "Quick List" feature provides fast access
to work order history. "Quick List" helps keep downtime to a
minimum by providing maintenance team members with access to everything
they need to know to accelerate the repair of facilities and equipment.
DynaStar 2000™ is designed for Windows 95 and Windows
NT platforms and is Year 2000 compliant.
DynaStar
2000™ is designed to fit today's dynamic business environment
and includes a readily adaptable maintenance module, as well as inventory,
work order, and purchasing modules and interfaces. It also provides management
and maintenance integration and ease-of-communication with purchasing,
personnel, and inventory control for all operations that interact with
the maintenance and facilities departments. It also allows users to track
various maintenance data in order to make informed strategic and operational
decisions.
DynaStar
2000™ can be utilized to manage maintenance operations
smoothly. It allows users to include photos and drawings of equipment,
as well as maintenance history and warranty information, and streamlines
record-keeping.
DynaStar
2000™ provides 75 standard reports, automatically. It also
enables users to customize reports and export industry-standard formats
by employing graphics, charts, and spreadsheets via Crystal Reports®.
Preventive
maintenance projects can be quickly implemented or streamlined with the
PM Manager module that lets users set a variety of triggers for PM work
orders. Queries provide the data to fine-tune PM actions in order to establish
optimum activity levels and uptime goals. Maintenance managers can easily
view all pending work order requests and PM actions for a given equipment
or system and ensure worker safety with DynaStar 2000™'s
lock down/tag out features.
With the Equipment
Manager module, users have the ability to customize their equipment location
using five levels of detail. This feature provides a flexible equipment-locating
system, as well as a complete parts list cross-reference for optimized
use of spare parts inventories.
The Personnel Manager
module provides a centralized source for accessing key maintenance personnel
information, including a color portrait. It also stores and retrieves
information on skill levels, labor rates, availability, and certifications.
The Work Order Manager
module saves time by streamlining the work order generation process, resulting
in improved planning and scheduling. The Inventory Manager module automatically
updates inventory prices in real time using a first in/first out (FIFO),
last price, or average price accounting method and provides current inventory
prices for the Equipment and Purchasing Manager modules.
Flexibility
is the strength of the DynaStar 2000™ System. Its
range of applications support the requirements of a small company or of
a large, multi-user network-based enterprise.
The DynaStar
2000™ is delivered in a convenient CD/ROM package and can
be evaluated without charge.
